There is a program called the Reserve Officer Program that does just that. These officers can work side by side with an NRP officer, OR you can represent the Natural Resources Police at State Fairs and other public events anywhere in the state.  Further, you could enter data or transport equipment and materials about the state for officers. There are a myriad of opportunities available.
